From Products, user can perform the following three actions:

  • View My Products – The products from the user's own catalog(s) can be viewed. You can search for your products using a variety of filters and take a number of different actions on products.

  • Product Dashboard – In an interactive dashboard, you can see all the data related to the catalog. The interactive dashboard will assist you in taking specific actions by redirecting you to various pages to improve the quality of your catalog.

  • Assortments – An assortment is a collection of SKUs and product families. The user will have many methods to select the SKUs to gather in an assortment.

The products existing in your catalog are shown on the View My Products page. If there are numerous Catalogs attached, you can change the Catalog from the Products in Catalog dropdown. This feature will help you to use the Filter option to look for a certain product, create and store your own filter conditions, and make functional modifications to SKUs or products. Filters and Product Details are the two sections that make up the View My Products page.

Filters

You can find a specific product by using the filters option. The system includes a function that allows you to save your filter criteria in case you find that you use a particular filter frequently or you use complex filter criteria. Applying the same filter settings repeatedly will be time-saving as a result.

By inputting the string, you can perform a straight product search from Search Products. However, occasionally we struggle to recall the precise product name. Filters can be applied to fields like Taxonomy, Attribute, Product Item ID, Product Title, DA Linkage, Products that have Missing Data, Products Data Quality Score, View Products/Product Family, and Assortments in such a situation.

The following table describes each of these filter options to search the products:

All Attributes:

Once you begin typing the attribute name, a drop-down list of all matches is shown. Each attribute field will have options to edit, clear, copy, paste, delete the attribute, add multivalue, and Add UoM. On clicking Add UoM, enter the value in UoM or type to filter the available UoM’s. Attribute data type could be string or decimal or integer. If the attribute has LOVs, and when user clicks on the edit icon, the list of values that are associated to the attribute are displayed and based on the keywords entered, the LOVs will be listed. You can also opt to enter a value outside this list.

For any Attribute, you can click the Remove Attribute icon to remove attributes. When modifying, you can input the UoM of the attribute and add the attribute's value. You can add multiple attribute values and copy the attributes' properties from the one you choose to all the additional attributes. The Attributes can be filtered on the basis of five panels as given below:

  1. Descriptive Attributes: Attributes with tags Product Long Description and Product Short Description are displayed. The count of descriptive attributes will be seen. If these attributes exist in a different section, it will have an icon ‘DESC’

  2. Branding Attributes: Attributes with tags Brand Name and Manufacture Name are displayed. The count of Branding attributes will be seen. If these attributes exist in a different section, it will have an icon ‘BRND’.

  3. Identifier Attributes: Attributes with tags Manufacturer Part Number and UPC are displayed. The count of Identifier attributes will be seen. If these attributes exist in a different section, it will have an icon ‘IDNT’.

  4. Marketing Attributes: Attributes with tags Marketing Copy, Marketing Bullet, and Price will be displayed. The count of Marketing attributes will be seen. If these attributes exist in a different section, it will have an icon ‘MRKT’.

If any attribute value is missing, a warning that the attribute is missing with the count is displayed. If the attribute is repeated in other groups, editing the value in one place will update the value everywhere. On hovering, 'This attribute is repeated in other sections, making a change to the value will impact the attribute value in all sections.' So, for these attributes it will have 2 icons MRKT and this icon if it repeats.

  5. Category Attributes: The count of category attributes along with all schema attributes for this node will be displayed. The total number of validation errors can be viewed. Since these are schema attributes, this section will display the validation errors when the SKU attribute value does not abide by the rule. There will be * icons next to the attribute if it is a required attribute, and if the value is empty, the field for attribute value will be highlighted in red. So even if there is no value, the category attributes will have an empty field so user can enter a value. When user enters any value and if it does not match with the constraint then the error is posted right on the field with the field highlighted in red. The validation is checked for a SKU as soon as the value is entered in the field. If there is an error, there will be a red x icon with the validation error counts, if there is no error there will be a green check.

Users will be able to add schema attributes from this section if you have the schema view privilege and only then the Add Attribute option will be displayed. There will be a message ‘Adding this attribute will automatically add it to all the SKUs in this category’. Also, when user adds schema attributes, it displays the schema add view where user can add LOVs, UoMs and constraints.

Other Attributes: The count of other (SKUs) attributes will be displayed. There will be no validation errors seen here as these are just the SKU attributes. User will be able to add a new attribute from the master or a brand new attribute if they have the permission to add. There will be a warning ‘This attribute will be added to the Attribute Master and to this SKU only’ when user attempts to add a brand new attribute.

When Readiness value is not Ready and channel enablement is Mapped, Build is current, the action icon will list Validation failure count and Attribute gap count. The mapped, build is obsolete and mapped, build is current will show the last built on details. If mapped, build is obsolete, then that status needs to be determined using the DataBridge SKU map details. Each of these counts take user to a pop up with the channel activation details. The target logo, target catalog, Target taxonomy node, Mapping rule used, DataBridge channel name are shown on top. The first tab will show the Validation details with count, and the second tab will show Attribute Gap count.

The columns are Attribute Name in Target Catalog (target attribute in DataBridge which was left unmapped), Attribute Gap Reason, Attribute Name in this Catalog (which will list the attribute name in this catalog, meaning the source catalog in DataBridge which had a missing source attribute value and so the target attribute is unmapped). The attributes are hyperlinked which will take user to the attribute mapping page of that source and target node in that respective channel.

For Grainger, it will open up the Grainger list of problems with the validation count. There will be a refresh icon as well. The columns will be Failed Attribute (PCC), Grainger Field Name, Current Value in Catalog, Failure Type, Validation Rule. The Current value in Catalog will have an edit option, which will open the Update value pop up. User can submit the value and then save the data in the Grainger list of problems pop up.
