Searching and Locating a SKU in a Catalog

You can search for any SKU existing in the Catalog using the Global Search feature.  To search for a SKU, you must know the unique SKU ID.

To search an existing SKU in the catalog:

  1. Enter the SKU ID as shown below and click the Search   icon.

   The result of the search is displayed as shown below.

  1. Click on the result displayed. The SKU is located and the exact Node within which the SKU exists is displayed as shown below.

NOTE

A SKU can exist across multiple hierarchies. If a SKU exists in multiple hierarchies, the search will display them as well.  Click the downward arrow icon next to the SKU ID displayed as shown below and it will show a list of hierarchies within which the SKU exists. Click the respective Taxonomy path and the SKU is located.

Thus, you can search and locate any SKU in the catalog easily. In case you need to move the located SKU, perform the steps mentioned in Moving SKUs from One Node to Another  section.
