Package Units

Package Units define the different packaging levels used for products, such as Box, Carton, Case, and Pallet. These units represent how products are packaged, stored, transported, or sold. Users can create and manage package units that are used when defining packaging information for products in Product 360.

Adding Package Unit

Follow the steps below to add a package units:

  1. Go to the Packages menu option.

  2. Click Package Units.

  3. Select the catalog from the Package Units in Catalog dropdown menu.

  4. Click on +Add Package Unit icon.

  5. The Editing Details for the Package Unit page opens.

  6. Enter the Package Unit Name, Package Unit Code, Package Unit ID and Package Unit Description.

  7. Click +Associate Package Attributes to add package attributes to the package unit.

  8. The Select package attributes to be associated to page opens.

  9. Select the attributes that you want to associate with the package unit.

  10. Click Add Selected.

  11. To associate the Package Unit with a specific node:

    1. In the Associated Nodes field, expand the notes and and select the node with which you want to associate package unit.

      NOTE: If Associate Nodes is selected while creating the package unit, then that package units can be used only for the SKUs in that node on the Product 360 page.

  12. Click Save.

  13. Click OK in the pop-up screen.

  14. The package unit is created and displayed the the List of Package Units.

Editing Package Unit

Follow the steps below to edit a package unit:

  1. Select the catalog from the Package Units in Catalog dropdown menu.

  2. From the List of Package Units, select the package unit you want to edit.

  3. The Viewing Details for the Package Unit page will open.

  4. Click Edit icon.

  5. Make the required changes and click Save.

  6. Click OK on the pop-up screen.

  7. The package unit is edited and displayed the the List of Package Units.

Deleting Package Unit

Follow the steps below to delete a Package units:

  1. Select the catalog from the Package Units in Catalog dropdown menu.

  2. From the List of Package Units, select the package unit that you want to edit.

  3. The Viewing Details for the Package Unit Page will open.

  4. Click Delete Package Unit Icon.

  5. Click Delete in the Delete Package Unit pop-up screen.

  6. The Package Unit is deleted.
