SKU Title Mapping allows you to define how the SKU Title in the target catalog is generated or populated based on data from the source catalog. Instead of manually creating product titles, you can automate and standardize title creation using configurable rules.
As a user, you can create mapping and transformation rules to define both the structure and content of SKU Titles. The rule configuration is highly flexible, enabling you to build complex formulas using any available SKU entity. These rules give you complete control over how SKU Titles are generated and displayed across different channels.
This feature is supported in both Full CRUD and Enrich (Update) Only channels, with rules applied per node map or globally to all SKUs, respectively.
This feature follows the same structure as general attribute mapping and supports two levels of configuration:
Global SKU Title Mapping Rule – Applied across the entire catalog and act as the default rule.
Local SKU Title Mapping Rule – Defined at the node map level and override global rules for specific category or node-based mappings.
Please note that you must first configure the Global SKU Title Mapping Rule before you can create any Local SKU Title Mapping Rule.
