Using Package Units in Product 360

A package unit can be associated with the product in Product 360 page.

Associating an Existing Package Unit with a Product

Follow the steps below to associate an existing package unit with a specific product:

  1. Open the Product 360 page and select the product to which you want to add the package unit.

  2. Navigate to the Packages screen.

  3. Click + Add Package.

  4. The Add Package to SKU page opens.

  5. Select the Select Any Existing Package Unit radio button.

  6. From the Select package unit dropdown, select the existing package unit you want to associate with the product.

  7. Click Next.

  8. Core Attributes are the attributes that come with the catalog. To edit the core attributes, click Edit All.

  9. Make the required changes to the core attributes and click Save All.

  10. Relevant Attributes are the attributes which are associated with the Package unit, To edit the relevant attributes for package unit, click Edit All.

  11. Make the required changes to the relevant attributes and click Save All.

  12. To add other attributes that are not listed in Core attributes or Relevant Attributes, Click +Add Attributes under Other Attributes.

  13. Select the package attributes from the Select package attributes to be added page.

  14. Click Add Selected.


    NOTE: You can edit specific attribute by clicking on Edit Attribute Valve Icon. You can delete Other Attributes by clicking the Remove Attribute Value icon.

  15. Click Save.

  16. The Package Added Successfully pop-up screen opens. Click OK.

  17. The Package unit is associated with the product.

Associating an Applicable Package Unit for a Taxonomy Node

Follow the steps below to associate an applicable package unit for a taxonomy node:

  1. Open the Product 360 page and select the product to which you want to add the package unit.

  2. Navigate to Packages screen.

  3. Click +Add Package.

  4. The Add Package to SKU page opens.

  5. Select the Select an Applicable Package Unit for Taxonomy Node radio button.

  6. From the Select package unit dropdown, select the existing package unit that you want to associate with the product.

  7. Click Next.

  8. Core Attributes are the attributes that come with the model. To edit the core attributes, click Edit All.

  9. Make the required changes to the core attributes and click Save All.

  10. Relevant Attributes are the attributes associated with the package unit. To edit the relevant attributes for the package unit, click Edit All.

  11. Make the required changes to the relevant attributes and click Save All.

  12. To add other attributes that are not listed under core attributes or relevant attributes, click +Add Attributes under Other Attributes.

  13. Select the package attributes from the Select package attributes to be added page.

  14. Click Add Selected.


    NOTE: You can edit specific attribute by clicking on Edit Attribute Valve icon.

  15. Click Save.

  16. The Package Added Successfully pop-up screen opens. Click OK.

  17. The Package unit is associated with the product.

Creating a New Package Unit in Product 360

Follow the steps below to create a new package unit in Product 360 and associate it with the product:

  1. Open the Product 360 page and select the product to which you want to add the package unit.

  2. Navigate to Packages screen.

  3. Click +Add Package.

  4. The Add Package to SKU page opens.

  5. Select the Create a New Package Unit radio button.

  6. Enter the Package Unit Name, Package Unit Code, Package Unit ID and Package Unit Description.

  7. Click Next.

  8. Core Attributes are the attributes that come with the model. To edit the core attributes, click Edit All.

  9. Make the required changes to the Core Attributes and click Save All.

  10. Relevant Attributes are the attributes associated with the package unit. Relevant attributes cannot be added to the package unit created from Product 360.

  11. To add other attributes that are not listed under core attributes or relevant attributes, click +Add Attributes under Other Attributes.

  12. Select the package attributes from the Select package attributes to be added page.

  13. Click Add Selected.

    NOTE: You can edit specific attribute by clicking on Edit Attribute Valve icon.

  14. Click Save.

  15. The Package Added Successfully pop-up screen opens. Click OK.

  16. The package unit is associated with the product.

Editing a Package Unit Associated with a Product in Product 360

Follow the steps below to edit a package unit associated with a product:

  1. Open the Product 360 page and select the product for which you want to edit the package unit.

  2. Navigate to the Packages screen.

  3. Select the package associated with the product.

  4. Click the Edit Package icon.

  5. Make the required changes and click Save.

  6. The Package Updated Successfully pop-up screen opens. Click OK.

  7. The package unit associated with the product is updated.

Deleting a Package Unit Associated with a Product in Product 360

Follow the steps below to delete a package unit associated with a product:

  1. Open the Product 360 page and select the product from which you want to delete the package unit.

  2. Navigate to Packages screen.

  3. Select the package associated with the product.

  4. Click Delete Package icon.

  5. The Delete Package pop-up screen opens. Click Delete.

  6. The Package unit associated with the product is deleted.
