New Import Filters in SKU Advanced Search

There was no functionality where the users could filter SKUs based on catalog import information (e.g., which import added or edited them). In short, the Advanced Search lacked import based filters, making it difficult to trace, audit, or analyze changes tied to specific imports.

We’re introducing a brand new Import Filters category in Advanced Search. This enhancement empowers users with powerful new query options:

  • Import Name – filter with flexible string operators.

  • Import Processing End Date/Time – filter by completion window using <, <=, >, >=.

With these new filters, users gain unprecedented visibility into SKU history and improve efficiency by narrowing searches to relevant SKUs.

Auto-Creation of Units of Measure (UoM) in Public SKU POST API

Previously, when creating SKUs via the Public SKU POST API, attributes that included a uomName or uomSymbol would fail with a partial SKU error if the specified Unit of Measure (UoM) did not already exist in the system. This created friction for users, requiring them to pre-configure UoMs manually before SKU creation.

With this enhancement, the Public SKU POST API now checks whether the provided uomName and uomSymbol exist in the system.

  • If the UoM exists, it is applied to the attribute as usual.

  • If the UoM does not exist, the API automatically creates a new UoM with the given details, eliminating the need for pre-configuration.

This enhancement streamlines the SKU onboarding process, reduces API errors, and ensures smooth handling of attributes with new or undefined UoMs.

New Grainger Template Status Related Change

Previously, certain compliance and regulatory fields in the Grainger template were strictly validated. This caused status changes to fail unnecessarily, and fields not included in the Grainger export file would still trigger validation errors after export completion.

With this enhancement the compliance and regulatory fields are now marked as soft-validated, so status changes only consider hard-validated fields.

Export handling has also been updated to ensure that fields not included in the Grainger export file no longer trigger validation errors after completion.

These improvements reduce false validation errors, improves the accuracy of status changes and ensure smoother, more reliable Grainger export operations.

Model Upgrade: Expanded Context Window for AI Use Cases

Upgraded to a higher capacity language model (LLM) with an expanded context window, enabling support for larger and more complex requests such as node mapping, attribute mapping, and product classification.
