Mapping Global Attributes

Prev Next

The attribute type which is global determines a global attribute and is denoted by a globe icon near attribute.  An attribute that is common to all products across the client’s data is referred to as a global attribute. For example, Price, Package Quantity, Weight and so on.

When you import a catalog, all attributes marked as global will be listed in the global attribute mapping page. Both source and target catalogs might have a list of global attributes which can be mapped.

NOTE

You can only map global source attributes with a global target attribute.
