Once the channel is created, you need to enable the channel, that is, map the product information between source and target catalogs. To map the information, you need to create the mapping rules. These rules will enable in mapping the relevant product information between the catalogs.
Based on the Mapping Method selected while creating the channel you can create two different types of channels:
Full CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete): Manages items in the target catalog by reading from the source. It allows configurable many-to-many category mapping and attribute transformation rules at both global and node-map levels. For more information, refer to Full CRUD section.
Enrich (Update Only): Updates existing items in the target catalog without creating new ones. Items are matched using user-defined logic, and global attribute transformation rules are applied. For more information, refer to Enrich section.
