From here you can create a new domain record for the selected catalog.

Steps to add a domain record:

  1. To add domain records, go to Domain menu > click Domain Records.

You can also add domain record from the Domain Configuration screen, select the catalog > click on Records tab as shown below:

  1. Select the catalog and then select the domain for which you want to create the record.  

  1. Click +Create domain record for the selected domain.

You’ll land on the following page.

  1. Add the Domain Value, select the Active from and Active through date. If the domain value should be active throughout you can check Effective Forever.

  2. Click Add Domain Value and to discard click Cancel.

You’ll land on the Domain Records page with the record added to the list.

Note: If you select Supplier as the Domain Class and add records to the domain, those records will also be reflected in the Manage Supplier as you can see in the below screenshot.

To add more records you can click on the Add button as shown below:

On the Record Card you can see the following icons:

indicates that the Domain Record is active.

(+Add Relationship) -> Hover on relationship icon you can view any existing domain record relationship. If you want to create new relationship, click + Add Relationships.

Steps to Add Relationship:

  1. You can hover over on the icon and click +Add Relationship.

You can select the specific domain record and click Add Relationships from the top as shown below:

You will land on the Create new relationship for Domain and Value with page.

  1. Select the domain and select the value for which you would want to create a relationship. By default, it displays the current domain name.

  2. Select the domain value to which you want to associate the other value with.

  3. Enter the relationship verbiage for both the values. An example is shown in the screenshot for reference.

  1. Click on Add Domain Relationship to confirm the relationship mapping or click Cancel to discard the relationship.

You will land on the Domain Records page, where you can hover over the relationship icon for that record and you can see the added relationship.

(Manage Digital Assets) -> Hover over on this icon to view if any attached digital assets. You can click on Manage Digital Assets icon to upload or link the digital assets from the library or can also delink, view or download the attached digital assets from here as shown below:

You can select the specific domain record and click Digital Assets from the top as shown below:

More Options-> click on this icon and you’ll see the following options:

On the left you have various Filters which you can select and apply to find the specific domain record(s).

Edit Domain (360 View for Domain Record)

Click on edit domain and you’'ll land on 360 view for that domain record as shown in the screenshot below:

On the right you can view these four tabs:

  • Attributes → Use this tab to view and manage all attributes associated with the domain record. You can add or update attribute values and review validation status indicators for each attribute.

  • Digital Assets → This tab allows you to attach and manage digital assets (such as images or documents) with the domain record.

  • Relationships→ Use this tab to define and manage relationships between this domain record and other entities or records within the system.

  • Items→ This tab displays all SKUs that are associated with this domain record, providing visibility into where the record is being used..

On the left you can view the record details such as Record Name, Active From, Active Through, and more.

Import/Export Domain

You can also import or export domains from the Domain Records page as shown below and for more information on how to import or export domains please refer to Domain Data Transfer: Import & Export.
