API Notifications

You can set email notifications to receive alerts when the import process is completed. A list of catalogs present in the environment is displayed. You can add users for each catalogs who should receive notifications whenever an import is processed for that catalog.

A detailed description on how to add a user in PCC is explained in the section Adding a New User to Access .

A list of all catalogs present in the PCC environment is displayed as shown below.

Let us assume that data will be imported to PCC Test Catalog using API calls. You need to add users to this catalog who should receive notification alerts.

To add users to a catalog, click the Add User icon next to the catalog. The following dialog box appears.

There are 2 ways to add a user:

• Existing Users

• External User

Existing Users

Here, you can select users already added in PCC from the list displayed on the left side of the screen. You can search the name of the user and then click the Add Usericon next to the user to move the user to the right panel as shown below.

Thus, you can add multiple users from the list. Also, you can remove any user who no longer needs to receive these alerts by clicking the Revoke User icon next the user added in the right panel.

Once the users are added, click Add to List and the users will be added for the catalog selected. Any API processes run on the catalog will trigger notifications to the added users.

External User

You can also add a user who is not added in PCC and is an external user from the customer end and needs to receive the notifications.

Click Add User to add a new email ID which does not exist in PCC as shown below.

The following dialog box appears.

Type the email ID of the user to be added and then click Add.  To add multiple users, click the icon and you can add more users as shown below.

Click Add once all the email IDs are entered. Click the to remove any user. If not required.

Click Add to List and the user is now assigned to the catalog selected.

Once added, the user will receive notifications via email after the import is processed through API calls.
