The Advance SKU Search feature in PCC enables you to customize conditions which can be used to find SKU data matching the conditions applied in a selected catalog. The SKU data displayed can then be edited to perform various SKU related functions. For example, in any e-commerce site, when you search for a product, based on the keywords entered, all possible matches are displayed. Similarly, in PCC, let us consider a catalog for accessories such as sunglasses, watches and so on. Now, if you want to find sunglasses which are black in Color, belong to a Brand named Rayban and reside in a node Sunglasses, you can build a condition mentioning these criteria and search for it and all products matching these criteria will be displayed. If any changes need to be made in all these SKUs, it can be done easily as all the filtered data is displayed together. These conditions built can be saved and reused whenever needed to locate the required data. Also, an already saved condition can be reused while building a new condition to refine the search further.
This feature is useful when you want to locate products that have some common properties, or you need to edit the values of products belonging to a specific category as the data is displayed based on the conditions created.
A detailed description of how to build, save and use these conditions to search the required data is explained in the following sections:
